Job Description
**Job Title** Building Services Engineer **Role Summary** Provide skilled support for the operation, maintenance and fault resolution of plant rooms and HVAC systems in a high‑profile corporate setting. Work under a 3‑month fixed‑term contract, collaborating with a high‑performing team to ensure systems run safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime. **Expectations** - Apply proactive maintenance practices and safety‑centric approach. - Communicate clearly with clients and team members. - Independently manage listed duties while contributing to on‑call rota when required. - Maintain accurate, digital documentation and comply with statutory and corporate health & safety policies. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage HVAC assets (BMS, FCUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV). - Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for all building services. - Diagnose and repair system faults; perform small mechanical/plumbing and lighting tasks. - Participate in emergency/reactive on‑call roster. - Prepare and maintain RAMS, permits, and health & safety documentation. - Conduct building walk‑throughs and provide high‑quality customer service. - Assist with ancillary duties (porterage, minor fabric repair) as part of unified site operations. **Required Skills** - Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and plant room operations. - Proficiency in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting. - Familiarity with health & safety procedures, permit‑to‑work systems, PPE use. - Manual handling competence, including working at heights. - Clear written and verbal communication; digital literacy. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. **Required Education & Certifications** - Level 3 Construction (C&G) Certification – Heating & Ventilation (preferred). - Mechanical Engineering credentials (preferred). - 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Certification (preferred). ---
