Job Description
Job title: Senior Data Scientist (AI) Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions for large, complex datasets. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate analytical insights into scalable, production‑grade systems. Expactations: • Minimum 12 years of professional experience in AI/ML roles. • 6‑month contract (renewable), with up to one visit per month to a European country. Key Responsibilities: 1. Build end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment. 2. Design, train, and tune classical ML models (regression, classification, clustering, predictive analytics) and deep learning networks (TensorFlow/PyTorch/Keras) for NLP and/or computer vision tasks. 3. Optimize model performance and resource usage; conduct hyper‑parameter tuning and cross‑validation. 4. Implement and maintain MLOps workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reproducible, versioned, and scalable deployments. 5. Integrate large‑scale data platforms (SQL/NoSQL, Spark, Hadoop) into data science workflows. 6. Communicate results and model trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders; create documentation and dashboards. Required Skills: - Classical machine learning (regression, classification, clustering, predictive analysis) - Model optimisation & hyper‑parameter tuning - Proficient in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit‑learn) - Deep learning: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras - NLP and/or computer vision experience - SQL/NoSQL databases; Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) - MLOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD - Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. - Professional certifications in machine learning, AI, or data engineering are a plus.
