Job Description
Job Title: Smart Grid & Intelligent Energy Systems Engineer (F/M) Role Summary: Design, integrate, and deploy advanced microgrid, energy management, and industrial automation solutions combining electrical engineering, industrial IT, and supervisory control. Expectations: Own technical leadership on complex energy projects; lead multidisciplinary teams; drive innovation and research in smart grid technologies; ensure high quality deliverables and technical documentation; maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry developments. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and develop smart grid and microgrid solutions incorporating renewable generation and storage. - Conduct technical studies for renewable integration and storage systems. - Design, configure, and implement Energy Management Systems (EMS). - Integrate supervision platforms (GTC/GTB/BMS) and industrial control systems. - Develop automation and control‑command hardware/software. - Build energy monitoring and control applications. - Manage and deliver complex technical projects across energy, IT, and automation domains. - Provide technical mentorship to engineers and technicians. - Contribute to research and innovation projects in intelligent grid technologies. - Produce technical documentation and perform continuous technology watch. Required Skills: - Deep expertise in smart grid and microgrid design. - Proficiency in industrial automation, control‑command, and supervisory systems (GTC/GTB/BMS). - Integration of IT/OT environments and embedded industrial networks. - Development of energy management and monitoring applications. - Energy regulation, optimization, and system control. - Strong autonomy, innovative thinking, and rigour. - Project management of complex technical initiatives. - Team leadership and technical mentoring. - Fluent in French (native) and professional English. Required Education & Certifications: - PhD or Master’s degree (M2) in Electrical Engineering, Smart Grids, Renewable Energy, Automated Systems, or Advanced Electrotechnics.
