Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Project Manager **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large and complex projects (typical £10m‑£25m) for clients in Energy, Water, Rail and other sectors. Serve as the primary client interface, ensuring projects meet time, cost, quality, and stakeholder expectations while applying rigorous governance, risk, and performance management. **Expactations** - Deliver projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards. - Foster strong client and cross‑functional team relationships. - Demonstrate proactive risk identification and mitigation. - Drive continuous improvement of project management processes. - Generate new business opportunities from existing client engagements. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain project charters, scopes, schedules and budgets. - Establish governance frameworks, change control procedures and reporting mechanisms. - Lead and facilitate cross‑functional project teams, allocating resources and managing procurement. - Monitor performance using KPIs, advance corrective actions and prepare progress reports. - Manage risk register, health & safety, environmental and quality controls. - Interface with clients, consultants and stakeholders at all project stages. - Control forecast versus actual costs, ensuring financial discipline. - Support business development through cross‑selling and proposal participation. **Required Skills** - Proven senior project management experience (≥5 years) in large infrastructure or engineering projects. - Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Expertise in PMIS tools (Auto‑cad, MS Project, Primavera) and budgeting software. - Proficient in risk, quality, safety and environmental management. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. - Ability to travel locally and adapt to flexible schedules. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related discipline. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification strongly preferred. ---
