Job Description

**Job Title:** Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript/Node.js) – Contract **Role Summary:** Seasoned Front End Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high‑performance, customer‑facing web applications for a large‑scale travel search platform. The role balances front‑end UI work with occasional back‑end contributions in a fast‑moving, data‑driven agile team. **Expectations:** - Minimum 3 years professional software development experience. - Proven commercial expertise in React and TypeScript. - Solid hands‑on experience with Node.js. - Ability to ship production‑grade features end‑to‑end, maintain code quality, and collaborate across product, design, and back‑end teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement responsive UI components using React and TypeScript. - Build end‑to‑end features spanning front‑end and Node.js back‑end services. - Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and reliability. - Participate in agile ceremonies and data‑driven decision making. - Write and maintain unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests. - Contribute to back‑end APIs or services when required, with exposure to cloud environments. **Required Skills:** - React, TypeScript, modern front‑end architecture, state management. - Node.js development and basic back‑end concepts. - Production‑grade application development, debugging, and monitoring. - Testing frameworks (unit, integration, e2e). - Performance profiling and reliability metrics. - Strong written and verbal communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field *or* equivalent professional experience. - No specific certifications required.
