**Job Title**
AI Engineer – Generative AI / LLM
**Role Summary**
Design, deploy, and maintain generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure for large enterprise clients. Lead end‑to‑end AI projects: translate business requirements into technical specifications, build and optimise pipelines, fine‑tune large language models, monitor performance, ensure data security and regulatory compliance, document deliverables, and provide training and guidance to cross‑functional teams.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 4 years experience in Data Science with proven GenAI/LLM projects.
- Fluency in French and English; strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence within multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable with agile methodologies and self‑directed project ownership.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyse project objectives and technical/functional requirements.
- Select and evaluate appropriate generative AI and LLM solutions.
- Apply solutions to diverse data sets; build and optimise data pipelines.
- Design fine‑tuning strategies to enhance model accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop evaluation frameworks and metrics to measure model effectiveness.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Document architecture, processes, and results for knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify new AI opportunities.
- Implement, monitor, and optimise AI solutions in production environments.
- Stay current on generative AI trends, tools, and MLOps/LLMOps best practices.
- Deliver training sessions on AI, LLMs, and related technologies.
**Required Skills**
- Machine Learning, NLP, Deep Learning fundamentals.
- Generative AI: Prompt Engineering, LLMs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, Vector Databases, Search Engines, LLMOps.
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure (Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, Azure Prompt Flow, Azure Databricks).
- Programming: Python, Apache Spark.
- Frameworks & Tools: LangChain, Chroma, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face.
- DevOps/MLOps: Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Agile project management.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred Azure certifications (e.g., AI‑900, DP‑203, AZ‑900, AZ‑104).
- Additional AI/ML certifications or proven industry training experience are a plus.
