Job Description
**Job Title:** Junior Operational Risk Manager (F/M) **Role Summary:** Support the Operational Risk Management team in monitoring, analysing, and mitigating operational risks within an asset‑management environment. Contribute to risk assessments, incident investigations, and the development of preventive action plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. **Expectations:** - Handle routine risk monitoring and incident analysis under senior guidance. - Deliver timely reports and insights to senior risk officers. - Actively participate in cross‑functional risk initiatives and meetings. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct root‑cause analyses of operational incidents and propose remediation actions. - Perform second‑level controls on fund and mandate performance fee calculations. - Coordinate Risk & Control Self‑Assessment exercises, challenging business units on findings. - Develop and maintain risk cartographies for identified at‑risk areas. - Track implementation and effectiveness of preventive action plans. - Execute MiFID suitability assessments for clients. - Collaborate on Business Continuity Planning and Third‑Party Risk Management. - Contribute to staff awareness initiatives, Operational Risk Committee organization, and automation of risk reporting tasks. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 2 years’ experience in asset management or banking (fund audit, operational risk, or equivalent). - Strong knowledge of financial instruments, institutions, and markets. - Analytical mindset with ability to assess risk criticality. - Proficiency in IT, including familiarity with Python and/or Power Automate (desirable). - Excellent written and oral communication in English and French (C1). - Proactive, solution‑oriented, and adept at teamwork in a multicultural setting. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s Degree (Bac+5) in finance, risk management, business administration, or related field. - No specific certifications required; relevant risk or compliance credentials (e.g., FRM, PRM) are a plus. ---
