**Job Title:** Lead Data AI
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, implementation, and governance of a full-data lifecycle for a high‑growth AI scale‑up. Own the end‑to‑end data architecture—from ingestion, transformation, and warehousing to BI and client‑facing dashboards—ensuring reliability, clarity, and security while enabling rapid AI‑driven insights.
**Expactations:**
- Own the entire data function beyond pipeline maintenance.
- Drive data strategy, standards, and quality across engineering, product, operations, business, and client touchpoints.
- Leverage LLMs and AI agents to automate insights and self‑service data access.
- Communicate insights and data metrics to stakeholders including executives and clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and launch modern data infrastructure (ETL/ELT, data warehouse architecture) using Snowflake/BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Python, and SQL.
- Deploy BI tools (Looker, Metabase) and create internal and client‑facing dashboards.
- Build real‑time reporting systems and implement data quality, governance, documentation, security, and access controls.
- Interface with engineering, product, ops, business teams, and clients to shape product decisions and strategy.
- Define standards and best practices for data clarity, reliability, and documentation.
- Integrate LLMs to automate data workflows and enhance data accessibility.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platform roles.
- Experience in SaaS, scale‑up, or AI‑native environments.
- Proficiency with dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Looker, Metabase, Python, SQL, Airflow, GCP/AWS.
- Strong command of the full data lifecycle (ingestion → transformation → reporting).
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, growth, customer success, and ops.
- Passion for leveraging LLMs to improve data workflows.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Google Cloud, AWS) are a plus.
