Job Description
**Job title:** VTOM Engineer **Role Summary:** Deliverable‑centric Engineer responsible for the design, deployment, and daily administration of VTOM 6.7+ scripts across business‑critical Oracle‑based applications and integrations. Acts as the primary liaison between application owners, IS‑Technical teams, and business managers, ensuring compliant, efficient operation of VTOM in a Windows 10/11 environment. **Expectations:** - Mastery of VTOM 6.7+ and OS prerequisites (Windows 10/11, Office 2016). - Fluent written and spoken English and French; clear communication with stakeholders. - End‑to‑end ownership of script deployment, maintenance, and documentation for Oracle projects. - Timely, accurate tracking and reporting of progress and risk. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, design, and deploy VTOM scripts for project‑specific applications and integrations. - Administer day‑to‑day VTOM operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. - Collaborate with Application and IS‑Technical teams to align VTOM solutions with business requirements. - Maintain and update VTOM Architecture and Administration documents; manage change control and record keeping. - Provide status updates and detailed feedback to business managers on delivery milestones. - Support complex integration environments and business applications, ensuring continuous service availability. **Required Skills:** - Advanced experience (5‑10 years) in VTOM implementation and administration. - Proficient with Windows 10/11, Office 2016, and Oracle integration environments. - Strong interpersonal communication, stakeholder management, and bilingual fluency (English/French). - Detailed‑oriented record‑keeping, documentation, and reporting. **Required Education & Certifications:** - ITIL v3 Foundation (or equivalent). - CompTIA A+. - VTOM 6.7+ training certificate from ABSYSS.
