Job Description
**Job title** Sales and Business Development Director **Role Summary** Lead commercial strategy, drive growth, and manage sales teams for a fast‑growing industrial SME. Coordinate with the president on business expansion, oversee a key geographic zone for onboarding, then expand responsibilities across the entire organization. **Expactations** - Own the commercial vision and execution. - Deliver measurable growth and profitability. - Develop and maintain strong client relationships domestically and across Europe. - Guide new product market entry. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and monitor commercial strategy: action plans, targets, budgets, and performance metrics. - Identify market opportunities, forecast trends, and propose expansion initiatives. - Lead, coach, and motivate stationary and traveling sales teams to achieve collective KPIs. - Conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and support skill development. - Provide on‑field support for portfolio management and client visits. - Drive major account development in France and in European export markets. - Design and launch new products: positioning, segmentation, and go‑to‑market plans. **Required Skills** - Proven sales leadership and strategy formulation. - Strong analytical and financial acumen. - Excellent coaching, negotiation, and stakeholder management. - Fluency in French and English; additional European languages a plus. - Adaptability to a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field. - Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sales/BDM experience, preferably in the industrial sector.
