**Job Title**
Business Analyst
**Role Summary**
Client‑facing business analyst in a product squad responsible for leading strategic projects across global markets. The role captures business context, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities, collaborating closely with UX, engineering, and technical delivery teams to translate user needs and business goals into viable, technology‑enabled solutions.
**Expectations**
- Drive end‑to‑end solution delivery, from requirement capture to client hand‑over.
- Maintain strong client relationships and facilitate workshops and research activities.
- Deliver high‑quality business artefacts and documentation that align with organisational objectives and user experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with User Researchers to interpret behavioural insights and define solution scope.
- Analyse current business processes, identify constraints, risks, and dependencies.
- Document business requirements, rules, and decision logic; create process maps, journey maps, service blueprints, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with UX to shape flows, journeys, and service concepts.
- Test early concepts with users and stakeholders, validating feasibility and alignment.
- Build product knowledge, support new client engagements, and demonstrate functionality.
- Update documentation for new and existing features.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders at all levels.
**Required Skills**
- Minimum 8 years of business analysis and service design experience.
- Strong analytical skills: process analysis, KPI and compliance assessment, dependency mapping.
- Design‑lead skills: personas, journeys, service blueprints, design thinking methodology.
- Facilitation: conduct stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and design workshops.
- Technical: create functional specifications, detailed acceptance criteria, and manage features through SDLC.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Experience in the water/utility sector, utility billing, and/or Salesforce ecosystem is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Self‑directed time management, ability to handle multiple priorities, and strong commercial awareness.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Certified Scrum Product Owner) preferred but not mandatory.
