**Job Title** Photo Retail Assistant **Role Summary** Full‑time temporary (maternity cover) position servicing multiple photo‑retail locations. Work 5 days a week, 40 hours, with 2 days off. Provide customer service and operate photo‑printing equipment, including canvas wall art, personalized gifts, and photo ID production. **Expectations** - Availability for 5 out of 7 days per week, 40‑hour schedule. - Willingness to travel within the local area to cover additional branches. - Maintain high personal and presentation standards. - Driven to achieve sales targets and bonuses. **Key Responsibilities** - Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting and assisting clients. - Operate digital‑printing and related equipment (laser, inkjet, screen‑printing). - Create canvas wall art, personalized photo gifts, and photo‑ID products. - Process sales orders, handle cash/credit transactions, and manage returns. - Upsell additional products and services to increase average transaction value. - Keep shop displays, stock levels, and production space organised and clean. - Participate in training and support colleagues across multiple sites. **Required Skills** - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and receptive to coaching. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Basic numerical literacy for sales and cash handling. - Adaptability to learn new equipment and product lines quickly. **Required Education & Certifications** - No formal education or certification required. - Comprehensive on‑the‑job training provided for all technical and customer‑service skills.
