Salesforce Technical Project Manager
**Role Summary**
Leads end‑to‑end technical project delivery for commercial patient services initiatives, applying Agile methodologies, managing scope, budget, risks, and stakeholder communications while ensuring compliance with DevOps and IT service lifecycle standards.
**Expectations**
- Deliver approved project charters and detailed plans for 100% of projects within agreed timelines.
- Facilitate all scheduled Agile ceremonies with documented outcomes for 100% of sprints.
- Reduce reported team obstacles by ≥70% per project cycle and achieve ≥90% team satisfaction in communication surveys.
- Identify and log 100% of risks/issues; resolve ≥90% of critical items within two weeks.
- Provide on‑time status updates to stakeholders for 100% of reports and incorporate feedback with ≥90% acceptance.
- Keep project expenses within approved budgets and maintain optimal resource utilization.
- Complete all pre‑deployment, post‑deployment, and stage‑gate activities on schedule with zero critical post‑release incidents.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Create and maintain project charters, scope, objectives, schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
- Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning/review, retrospectives, Scrum of Scrums).
- Serve as primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and management.
- Proactively manage risks and issues; develop mitigation and resolution plans.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and changes to stakeholders regularly.
- Oversee release management activities, ensuring compliance with AbbVie DevOps/IT SLC standards and successful hand‑off to operations (KT, SOPs, hyper‑care).
- Monitor and report on project performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
**Required Skills**
- Proven technical project/program management experience (5+ years), preferably with Salesforce implementations.
- Strong Agile/Scrum facilitation skills; certification (CSM, SAFe) preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Budgeting, financial tracking, and resource allocation expertise.
- Risk identification, analysis, and mitigation proficiency.
- Understanding of DevOps, release management, and IT service lifecycle processes.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on removing team impediments.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Agile certification (CSM, PMI‑ACP, SAFe) preferred.
- Salesforce certification (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or higher) advantageous.
