Job Description: **Job Title:** DevOps Systems Engineer (F/H) **Role Summary:** Design, industrialize, and operate large‑scale, secure infrastructure for educational solutions. Ensure continuous integration, automation, and reliable operation of over 1,200 servers and multiple Kubernetes clusters while supporting on‑call rotation. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in system administration and DevOps (excluding internships). - Ability to work one on‑call week per month (shifts 6 h–midnight). - Strong analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills. - Proactive attitude toward security, performance, and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git) and automate deployments using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Puppet, Ansible). - Maintain operational readiness of 800 production and 400 pre‑production Linux servers serving millions of user accounts. - Administer and monitor technical services to ensure performance and availability; implement preventive actions. - Manage Kubernetes environments (4 RKE2 clusters, ~20 Vclusters): upgrades, incident handling, and performance tuning. - Contribute to security hardening and compliance (PASSI audits, application firewalls). - Conduct technology scouting, proof‑of‑concepts, and develop new infrastructure components as needed. **Required Skills:** - Linux system administration (expert level). - Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (strong mastery). - Configuration management: Puppet, Ansible (or equivalents). - CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Rundeck. - Version control: Git. - Scripting/programming: Python (or another language), Bash. - Additional technologies: Tomcat, HAProxy, OpenLDAP, MariaDB, PHP, Java. - Strong problem‑solving, teamwork, and technical leadership abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s +5 (Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferably from an engineering school). - No specific certifications mandated; relevant certifications (e.g., CKAD, CKA, RHCE) are a plus.
