Job Title: Data Quality Specialist – Tale of Data (Freelance) Role Summary: Audit, cleanse, and industrialize supplier, contract, customer, and marketing data using Tale of Data. Drive data quality automation, support the future Purchasing Data Platform, and contribute to organization-wide data governance. Expectations: - Immediate autonomy with Tale of Data; rapid mastery of tool configuration and maintenance. - Ability to handle multi‑source environments (SAP MM, Business Central, non‑ERP systems). - Strong command of English for communication with global teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. **Tale of Data Administration** – Plan, configure, and automate quality checks for vendor, contract, customer (SAP tables), and marketing data streams. 2. **Data Cleansing & Industrialization** – Identify duplicates, errors, missing values; implement automated remediation pipelines. 3. **Multi‑Source Consolidation** – Reconcile data across SAP MM, Business Central, and external tools to build reliable reference datasets. 4. **Data Investigation** – Source missing information directly from data origins; evaluate data quality, structure, and lineage. 5. **KPIs & Reporting** – Define, extract, and report data quality metrics per business area. 6. **Data Platform & Governance Support** – Gain knowledge of the upcoming Purchasing Data Platform; identify new use‑cases with Business Process Owners and Domain Owners. Required Skills: - **Tale of Data** – Advanced level, proven experience configuring data quality workflows. - **SAP MM & Purchasing Ecosystem** – Advanced, deep understanding of tables and purchase‑to‑pay flows. - **Data Management** – Expertise in data quality, data cleansing, and structuring in enterprise settings. - **Multi‑Source Data Integration** – Experience with heterogeneous data environments (ERP & non‑ERP). - **English** – Fluent written and spoken. - Soft skills: Data‑centric mindset, strong analytical and investigative ability, proactive and self‑sufficient, rigorous attention to detail.
