**Job Title** Business Development Manager – French Speaking **Role Summary** Drive new business opportunities into the sales funnel, nurture relationships with prospects, and close contracts to achieve a high Month‑12 MRR. Leverage the organization’s resources efficiently, ensuring prospects fit the company’s CaaS model, target segment, and compliance criteria. Operate primarily in French to engage with decision‑makers and articulate value propositions in the card payment industry. **Expectations** - Generate and nurture 25 new opportunities per year, with 6 self‑generated. - Maintain a 45‑90‑day progression for each opportunity, ensuring regular touchpoints (weekly). - Use SalesForce to maintain up‑to‑date records of opportunities and closing plans. - Meet or exceed monthly sales targets through value‑driven pipeline management. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Identify, engage, and cultivate new business opportunities via partnerships, marketing, and direct BDM origination. 2. Own the cold‑outreach component, creating and executing lead‑generation strategies. 3. Navigate the entire sales cycle from prospect qualification to contract negotiation and closure. 4. Maintain detailed records in SalesForce, reflecting projected value delivery and opportunity status. 5. Collaborate with the Sales team and cross‑functional stakeholders to align on pricing, technical fit, and compliance. 6. Communicate value propositions to C‑level executives and conduct technical discussions when required. **Required Skills** - Bilingual: fluent in French (both written and spoken). - Deep knowledge of the card payment and card‑as‑a‑service ecosystem. - Proven ability to develop structured, outcome‑focused conversations that keep prospects engaged. - Strong presentation and negotiation skills; experience selling to C‑level stakeholders. - Self‑motivated and results‑oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. - Proficiency in CRM tools, preferably Salesforce; ability to manage a data‑driven pipeline. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. - Certifications in sales methodology, payment systems, or related areas are a plus. ---
