**Job Title** Business Development Representative **Role Summary** Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach to mid‑sized and large enterprises, primarily targeting C‑Level buyers. Support the sales pipeline by converting prospects into qualified leads, conducting market research, and ensuring accurate data entry into the CRM. **Expectations** - Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics (calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities, deals closed). - Maintain consistent outbound activity to enrich the pipeline and support Territory Managers. - Demonstrate a clear understanding of the product value proposition and effectively communicate it to prospects. - Show initiative in learning industry trends and competitors to refine outreach strategies. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Execute cold outreach via phone, email, and social media. 2. Respond to warm leads generated from marketing campaigns. 3. Identify target accounts, prepare prospecting materials, and conduct outbound prospecting. 4. Qualify prospects and hand off qualified opportunities to sales. 5. Engage with mid‑sized to large business prospects, including C‑Level decision makers. 6. Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in the CRM. 7. Conduct market research to inform Territory Manager follow‑ups. 8. Continuously learn and articulate the company’s applications, value proposition, and differentiators. **Required Skills** - Strong verbal and written communication, including a professional phone presence. - Ability to handle prospect questions and articulate product benefits. - Proven telephone sales or solution‑selling experience, preferably in software. - Experience managing leads through preliminary sales stages. - Familiarity with marketing and sales processes. - Leadership potential and desire for future management roles. - Proficient with CRM systems and basic data entry. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Management, Marketing or related field). - Minimum 1 year of customer‑service, call‑center, or inside‑sales experience. - Minimum 1 year of experience in an industry such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, lumber, or auto (industry experience is a plus, not mandatory). ---
