Job Description
Job Title: Supply Planning Manager Role Summary: Oversees Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) for designated product lines, ensuring product availability and inventory management globally. Coordinates with internal production and external suppliers to optimize supply chain operations. Expectations: - Lead S&OP processes for Ruminants portfolio and Product Quality/Value lines. - Achieve inventory and availability targets across worldwide operations. - Resolve supply chain disruptions and drive continuous improvement. - Maintain system accuracy (e.g., SAP) for on-time customer delivery. - Support cross-functional collaboration for decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Execute S&OP decisions, managing production/purchase orders and forecasts. - Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings, track key metrics (e.g., service rates, forecast accuracy). - Interface with internal plants and external suppliers for procurement and tolling. - Monitor and improve supply chain performance indicators (availability, costs, reliability). - Transfer knowledge to ensure operational continuity for a secondary portfolio. Required Skills: - S&OP process leadership in multi-site/international environments. - Inventory and supply planning using MRP/DRP and Advanced Planning Systems (APS). - SAP APO/IBP and advanced Excel for data analysis. - Problem-solving and project/continuous improvement methodology. - Cross-cultural communication and leadership in matrix organizations. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field. - Minimum 2 years in operations roles (procurement, inventory management). - 3–5 years leading S&OP for global supply chains. - Mandatory fluency in English and French. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and enterprise resource planning systems.
