**Job Title**
Junior Sustainable Process Engineer Internship (H/F)
**Role Summary**
Support the Process Design team in developing and implementing Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) programs and industrial decarbonization roadmaps across Adisseo’s portfolio. Conduct LCA analyses, eco‑design assessments, and feasibility studies for existing and future plants, while providing data‑driven tools and recommendations to achieve GHG reduction targets and Scope 3/Scope 1&2 compliance.
**Expectations**
- Deliver accurate LCA reports and environmental data analyses for products, plants, and business units.
- Develop and implement eco‑design methodology within the R&I process.
- Contribute to CO₂ and Scope 3 roadmaps, offering calculation tools and mitigation actions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technological monitoring for plant decarbonization.
- Communicate findings to internal stakeholders and external partners in English and French.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organization and analytical skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **LCA Execution & Reporting**
- Perform LCAs on Adisseo products, compile results, and produce stakeholder‑ready reports.
- Consolidate, process, and analyze environmental data at product, plant, country, or BU level.
2. **Eco‑Design & Innovation Support**
- Participate in the creation and implementation of a new eco‑design methodology.
- Evaluate sustainability aspects of innovation projects in collaboration with Marketing, R&I, and Purchasing.
3. **Decarbonization Roadmap Development**
- Collaborate with Process Design & Engineering teams to assess feasibility of decarbonization measures.
- Design equipment, simulate processes (HYSIS, ASPEN, PRO II), and liaise with suppliers.
4. **Scope 3 & CO₂ Roadmap Contribution**
- Provide tools and data for Scope 3 emissions calculations and LCA objectives.
5. **Technological Monitoring & Knowledge Sharing**
- Monitor emerging decarbonization technologies, participate in webinars/seminars, and share insights internally.
6. **Stakeholder Coordination**
- Work with internal units (Headquarter SD team, BUs, R&I, Industrial Representatives, Plants, Purchasing) and external partners (LCA experts, raw‑material suppliers, technology suppliers).
**Required Skills**
- Practical experience with Life Cycle Assessment (academic, internship, or work).
- Familiarity with process simulation tools: HYSIS, ASPEN, or PRO II.
- Strong data processing, analysis, and project management abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English; French proficiency required.
- Organizational, innovative, results‑oriented, and customer‑focused mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree (or final year of Master’s) in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with coursework or internship involving LCA.
- No additional certifications required, though knowledge of LCA software packages and process simulation tools is essential.
