OUR HISTORY

Founded in 2015 by Carlos Da Silva and Nicolas Brumelot, our group is made up of a passionate and complementary team of travel and tech specialists.

To expand the scope of products and services made available and to onboard the corresponding 'know-how' in as early as 2016 Carlos and Nicolas began to put together a team of complimentary entrepreneurs through a succession of build-ups.

Franck Demortiere and Julien Manceau were the first to join in 2016, bringing the expertise of the H-Resa team in hotel sourcing and distribution. The combined platform gave access to the two main inventories of travel : flights and accommodations.

Olivier Ferrero then joined the team in 2017 to strengthen the in-house technological capabilities with Koedia, a French leader in hotel connectivity and booking engines with more than a 100 partners already connected at that time. The combined technological know-how allowed the group to internally develop its own NDC capabilities for the flight business line.

In 2018 the group continued its path towards the industry digitalization, with Frederic joining the group along with the mTrip team, specialized in white-label mobile applications for various segments of the travel industry.

The group then added packages with its Idiliz brand and car rental and transfers products into the platform.

**Job Title** Commercial Director – Italy **Role Summary** Lead the commercial strategy and operations for DigiTrips in Italy, driving revenue growth, partnership acquisition, and market expansion. Oversee local sales teams, forge strategic alliances, and represent the company within the Italian travel and technology ecosystem. Collaborate with central functions to align objectives and deliver on key performance metrics. **Expectations** - 10+ years of senior commercial or business‑development experience in travel, hospitality, or loyalty sectors. - Deep knowledge of the Italian travel distribution landscape and market dynamics. - Proven track record of negotiating complex agreements and managing stakeholder relationships. - Fluency in Italian and English; additional European languages preferred. - Strong analytical, financial acumen, and ability to balance short‑term results with long‑term strategy. - Results‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and execute Italy’s commercial strategy, setting market priorities and revenue targets. - Lead, coach, and develop the in‑market sales team, embedding company sales methodology and processes. - Identify, negotiate, and secure new partnerships across travel & hospitality, loyalty & benefits, financial services, and e‑commerce. - Maintain strong pipeline discipline, accurate reporting, and stakeholder communication. - Deliver on revenue, margin, partner acquisition, retention, and diversification KPIs. - Provide market insights and competitor intelligence to guide product and marketing strategy. - Represent DigiTrips externally with clients, partners, and industry associations to enhance brand visibility. - Ensure alignment with central functions and contribute to overall regional growth. **Required Skills** - Strategic planning and execution in commercial roles. - Team leadership, coaching, and performance management. - Negotiation and contract management. - Relationship building, influencing, and partnership management. - Financial analysis, KPI tracking, and reporting. - Strong communication in Italian and English; additional EU languages a plus. - Adaptability, problem‑solving, and collaborative mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. - Additional certifications in sales, business development, or project management are advantageous.
