**Job Title** Cybersecurity Manager (M/F) **Role Summary** Lead the cybersecurity operations function for a major client, overseeing the SOC, vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation coordination. Manage and develop a team of security experts, ensure compliance with security policies, and embed security considerations into business projects. **Expectations** - Deliver end‑to‑end security operations and continuous improvement. - Collaborate across IT, business, compliance, and legal functions. - Support and coach a diverse cyber‑security team. - Own the security governance, risk management, and audit processes. - Maintain a proactive threat‑intelligence posture. **Key Responsibilities** - Supervise SOC operations, optimize detection and response capabilities. - Plan and execute vulnerability scanning campaigns across all environments. - Lead incident response, coordinate triage, containment, eradication, and recovery. - Direct remediation activities and quality assurance of fixes. - Drive security governance: policies, procedures, audits, and awareness programs. - Integrate security requirements into projects from the design stage. - Align group‑wide security practices, benchmark KPIs, and report performance. - Liaise with the CISO, business units, and the legal and compliance teams. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of cybersecurity management experience. - Deep knowledge of SOC operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and crisis management. - Strong IT foundation: operating systems, networking, cloud, virtualization, Active Directory. - Proven leadership: team building, skill development, prioritisation, and conflict resolution. - Excellent communication: translate technical risks into business terms and train stakeholders. - Strategic thinking: translate business needs into security controls and risk trade‑offs. - Governance expertise: audits, policy development, compliance tracking. - Performance management: KPI definition, process optimisation, tool selection. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. - Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH, or equivalent. ---
