Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Role Summary:
Senior Salesforce developer focused on Commerce Cloud front‑end delivery within an Agile sprint team, supporting high‑quality digital products. Responsibilities span storefront development, Business Manager administration, UI/UX optimization, integration with a bespoke PIM system (Angular/JHipster), and AWS serverless services.
Expectations:
Deliver scalable and engaging customer experiences, maintain clean, testable code, collaborate with designers, product managers and backend engineers, adopt best practices, continuously learn AWS serverless patterns, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize SFCC storefronts and components (ISML, LWC, JavaScript, CSS).
- Administer Business Manager: catalog, promotions, content, and extensions.
- Build responsive UI, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility and performance.
- Implement A/B testing, analyze data to drive UX and conversion improvements.
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and maintain code quality.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to craft seamless customer journeys.
- Integrate with internal tools (Angular/JHipster PIM) via APIs.
- Develop and maintain AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Required Skills:
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud (front‑end, Business Manager)
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ISML, Lightning Web Components
- Responsive design, cross‑browser testing, performance optimisation
- A/B testing platforms and analytics interpretation
- Basic Angular or JHipster for backend integration
- AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudFormation
- Agile/Scrum methodology, Jira, version control (Git)
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, teamwork.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or Sales Cloud Developer certification (preferred).
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer certification (preferred).
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect – Associate (advantageous).
