Job Description

**Job Title** Backend PHP Developer **Role Summary** Drive the evolution of a robust SaaS platform by designing, developing, and optimizing backend features, ensuring code quality and scalability, and collaborating closely with the tech team and Lead Developer. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code that meets performance and reliability standards. - Contribute proactively to technical strategy, architecture decisions, and process improvement. - Demonstrate ownership of tasks from analysis through deployment and post‑launch support. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze technical and structural needs of the solution. - Design and implement new backend features using PHP. - Optimize and stabilize the core platform for performance and reliability. - Participate in architectural discussions and make sound technical decisions. - Write and maintain unit tests and support overall product quality. - Collaborate with front‑end and DevOps teams to evolve stack and best practices. **Required Skills** - Solid experience with PHP (5.x/7.x). - Proficient in MySQL database design and queries. - Familiarity with version control (Git). - Ability to write clear, testable code and automate tests. - Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. **Bonus Skills** (preferred) - Symfony framework. - NoSQL databases. - Redis caching. - Elasticsearch. - Basic front‑end knowledge: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor‑level (Bac +2/3) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Relevant professional certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
