**Job Title:** Solution Director – Engineering
**Role Summary:**
Strategic senior role combining technical leadership with business development. Acts as a trusted advisor to C‑suite (CPO/CTO/CDO) of client organizations, designs and governs modern full‑stack and cloud‑native solutions, and drives the growth of account revenue while maintaining high technical integrity and a 50% billable utilization.
**Expectations:**
- Accelerate account revenue and increase client spend.

- Deliver technically sound, scalable and secure architecture that delivers business value.
- Build and maintain senior‑level trust through expert advice and evidence‑based business cases.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Client Advisory & Business Insight** – Develop deep understanding of client strategy, identify where technology adds value, and act as high‑level advisor to C‑suite.
2. **Opportunity Identification & Deal Development** – Spot and nurture business opportunities, assist in business‑case creation, and collaborate with sales to shape and present proposals.
3. **Solution Design & Architectural Governance** – Translate business requirements into full‑stack, cloud‑centric architectures (front‑end, back‑end, API, data, DevOps), ensure scalability, security and resilience, and enforce engineering best‑practice.
4. **Practice & Proposition Development** – Contribute to the evolution of service offerings, reusable assets, and methodology, especially in modern application development and platform engineering.
5. **Team Leadership & Mentorship** – Guide and develop engineering and architecture teams, foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning, and mentor across Practice Areas and regional “Clubs”.
6. **Technical Integrity & Quality Assurance** – Own architectural governance, review design deliverables, and guarantee solution quality and performance.
**Required Skills:**
- Extensive experience (10‑15 + yr) in full‑stack, cloud, data integration and platform engineering.
- Proven ability to engage and influence C‑level stakeholders.
- Strong business development and solution‑selling track record.
- Deep knowledge of modern architecture patterns (micro‑services, API‑first, DevOps, CI/CD, container orches‑tation).
- Leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management proficiency.
- Experience with architectural governance, design reviews and promoting best‑practice standards.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred).
- Industry‑recognised certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, Google Cloud Professional, TOGAF, or equivalent.
- Optional: PMP, Scrum Master/Professional Scrum Engineer, or other project‑delivery certifications.
