Design, develop, tune, and validate electronic control systems for engine, powertrain, and power system products. Lead small-scale projects, improve development processes, and implement next‑generation digital and machine‑learning algorithms for predictive maintenance and energy management.
**Expectations:**
- Translate customer and functional requirements into robust control designs.
- Independently own complex components or systems, delivering production‑ready solutions.
- Mentor junior controls engineers and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
- Drive process improvements and maintain high‑quality documentation (specs, DVP&R, test plans).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop open‑ and closed‑loop controls, diagnostics, and predictive models for internal combustion engines, hybrid, and BEV powertrains.
- Design, calibrate, and validate hardware‑software integration through simulation, modeling, and real‑world testing.
- Create and execute Design Verification Plans & Reports (DVP&R).
- Apply embedded optimization and machine‑learning for predictive energy and health services (SOH/RUL, predictive service).
- Conduct rapid prototyping, proof‑of‑concept, and feasibility studies.
