Job Description

Job Title: Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer Role Summary: Provide data insights, design and maintain ELT pipelines, and deliver dashboards across product, sales, marketing, and communication teams using the GCP modern data stack. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality data transformations, ensure data integrity, support business decisions through analytics, collaborate with data engineers and cross‑functional Agile teams, and communicate findings to non‑technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Translate business requirements from Product, Sales, Marketing, and Communication into data solutions. - Design, implement, and optimize data models and ELT pipelines with DBT and BigQuery. - Maintain data quality and integrity across the warehouse. - Create and manage dashboards and reports in Looker Studio, Superset, Metabase, or similar tools for internal and customer‑facing use. - Participate in ingestion pipeline design with Data Engineers using Apache Beam, Kafka, Airflow, and Git. - Perform ad‑hoc analyses and provide actionable recommendations. - Automate data transformations with Python scripting. - Operate within Agile environments and effectively communicate results to non‑technical stakeholders. Required Skills - ≥3 years experience as a Data Analyst in a similar setting. - Advanced SQL expertise with large‑scale data sets. - Hands‑on experience with BigQuery and DBT (Snowflake/Redshift equivalent). - Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). - Proficiency with data visualization tools: Looker Studio, Superset, PowerBI, Metabase. - Python scripting for data transformations. - Knowledge of Kafka, Apache Beam, Airflow, Git is a plus. - Excellent communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders. - Team‑player with Agile methodology experience. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. - Certifications in SQL, BigQuery, GCP, or data engineering are desirable.
