Job Description
Job Title: CRM Consultant (6-Month Fixed Term Contract) Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end transformation of Marketing and Sales CRM within a 6‑month programme. Own requirements gathering, solution design, vendor selection, implementation, training, and adoption for SugarCRM (and prospective Marketing CRM). Liaise across sales, marketing, technical, ERP, and senior leadership to align CRM with business processes. Expectations: - Deliver a fully functional Marketing and Sales CRM system within 6 months. - Achieve high adoption rates and measurable process improvements. - Maintain clear documentation, user stories, and training materials. - Communicate progress and manage stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct deep business process analysis for UK and EU sales and marketing teams. - Lead requirements gathering, pain‑point mapping, and solution briefing. - Evaluate and recommend Marketing CRM platforms and aid vendor selection. - Own the full implementation plan for Marketing CRM; coordinate briefing, spec, dev, testing, training, and rollout for SugarCRM. - Create functional specs, user stories, and technical documentation for internal and external teams. - Develop and execute change‑management and adoption plans, including communication, training sessions, and adoption monitoring. - Ensure data integrity between ERP and CRM; perform UAT and QA. - Provide technical support and troubleshoot post‑go‑live issues. Required Skills: - Proven end‑to‑end delivery of B2B, product‑focused CRM projects (distribution, wholesale, manufacturing). - Hands‑on experience with mid‑enterprise CRM platforms (SugarCRM, HubSpot, etc.). - Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement. - Demonstrated change‑management ability with training and adoption focus. - Project management skills (planning, prioritisation, multitasking). - Excellent communication and facilitation with senior leaders and frontline staff. - Knowledge of CRM integrations, data flows, and middleware (e.g., Workato). - Detail‑oriented documentation and quality focus. - Ability to constructively challenge assumptions and propose pragmatic solutions. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Information Systems, or related field. - Relevant certifications preferred: CRM (SugarCRM, HubSpot, Salesforce), Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2).
