**Job Title:** Associate Channel Development Manager
**Role Summary:**
Execute and drive the Go‑To‑Market (GTM) strategy for Nutella spreads across assigned retail channels, ensuring optimal distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing (DSMP). Translate strategic plans into actionable standards, provide analytical insights from Nielsen and internal data, and coordinate seasonal and innovation material releases. Collaborate cross‑functionally to meet launch KPIs, trade investment goals, and profitability targets.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver accurate DSMP standards and execution plans on schedule.
- Produce data‑driven insights to influence distribution, pricing, and promotion decisions.
- Maintain alignment with brand, category, sales, finance, and trade intelligence teams.
- Ensure timely preparation of customer‑ready sales decks, merchandising calendars, and seasonal catalogs.
- Meet or exceed defined launch KPIs and trade investment budgets.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead GTM planning for Nutella Spreads & Nutella&Go, setting DSMP standards.
- Align with Brand Marketing, Category Management, and Customer Teams on launch objectives.
- Define and monitor launch KPIs by trade class; contribute to budget planning.
- Develop trade‑investment strategies, in‑store activity calendars, and display tool formats.
- Build pack/price architecture frameworks for strategic channel opportunities.
- Coordinate innovation launches to meet customer lead‑time requirements.
- Track competitive activity and embed insights into business plans.
- Provide analytical support using Nielsen, SAC, and TMA tools; prepare sales presentations and seasonal templates.
- Manage merchandising calendars, seasonal brochures, and translation of sales decks.
- Oversee display mix analysis, innovation sample distribution, and monthly confectionery trackers.
**Required Skills:**
- 3+ years in channel development, category management, or retail strategy.
- Strong knowledge of Ferrero brands, Perfect Store concepts, and Canadian retail landscape.
- Proficiency with Nielsen data and syndicated market data analysis.
- Experience with Ferrero systems (SAC, TMA) and customer business processes.
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
- Excellent project and process management abilities.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Customer‑focused, self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Team‑oriented with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
