Job Title: Merchandising Strategy Associate Role Summary: Supports strategic merchandising decisions through data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sales performance and product strategy. Expectations: Deliver accurate, time-sensitive insights to leadership; maintain high standards of data integrity; adapt to dynamic business needs with a focus on analytical rigor and strategic alignment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and distribute weekly/monthly sales reports (divisional recaps, product performance, capsule launches). - Build and refine Excel-based dashboards for merchandising, planning, and e-commerce teams. - Conduct seasonal analysis of global sell-in/sell-out, trends, and competitive benchmarks. - Provide data-driven insights to shape product investment priorities, pricing strategies, and assortment plans. - Prepare KPI roll-ups for leadership reviews (e.g., investment reviews, financial reviews, strategy sessions). - Ensure data accuracy across reporting systems (Lighthouse/MicroStrategy, Power BI, SAP). - Support system cutover and maintenance activities. - Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; familiarity with Lighthouse/MicroStrategy, Power BI, and SAP. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data synthesis into business insights. - Merchandising fundamentals (retail math, product performance analysis). - Cross-functional collaboration; clear verbal/written communication for leadership presentations. - Multitasking in fast-paced environments with attention to detail and timelines. - Business acumen to connect metrics to strategic objectives. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Analytics, or related field. - 2–4 years of experience in merchandising, business analysis, or retail/apparel analytics.
