Job Title: Internal D365 Project Manager – Contract
Role Summary:
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) programmes, overseeing planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and change readiness. Provide project secretariat functions to ensure Steering Committee and programme governance operate smoothly.
Expectations:
* Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget while maintaining governance standards.
* Maintain high‑quality documentation and reporting for senior stakeholders.
* Act independently and proactively, driving progress across multiple teams.
* Exhibit strong ownership, collaboration, and a disciplined, structured approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute D365 projects (rollouts, upgrades, process optimisations, module implementations).
* Build and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, action trackers, and budget reports.
* Manage project scope, dependencies, and risk/issue resolutions to align with business priorities.
* Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, including testing, UAT readiness, cut‑over planning, and go‑live execution.
* Provide project secretariat support for the D365 Steering Committee/Programme Board:
– Prepare agendas, progress packs, and decision logs.
– Record, distribute minutes and actions, maintain governance records.
* Facilitate workshops and working groups to capture requirements, define scope, and prioritise delivery.
* Communicate progress, risks, milestones, and decisions to senior leaders and sponsors.
* Support change management and adoption initiatives.
* Coordinate with external D365 implementation partners and support providers, monitoring performance and contractual compliance.
* Manage procurement activities: raise POs, track invoices, and manage documentation.
* Deliver structured reporting to senior stakeholders and programme board.
Required Skills:
* Demonstrated experience delivering D365 Finance & Operations projects (implementation, upgrades, or major change).
* Strong PM skills: planning, risk/issue management, reporting, and governance.
* Experience running programme governance and structured reporting to senior stakeholders.
* Excellent written communication – minutes, status reports, steering packs.
* Ability to engage confidently with senior business stakeholders and external partners.
* Formal project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM, or equivalent).
* Technical familiarity with Power Platform, Azure DevOps, or D365 release management.
* Understanding of finance and/or supply‑chain operational processes.
* Highly organised, disciplined, and detail‑orientated.
* Proactive ownership mindset, independent work capability, and meeting facilitation skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Formal project management qualification – PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM, or similar.
