Job Description

**Job Title:** Full Stack Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Build and scale the core platform that powers clinical trial management. Work cross‑functionally with product, design, and operations teams. Deliver end‑to‑end features in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment, learning domain expertise in clinical trials while maintaining high‑quality code across the stack. **Expectations:** - 2+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Product‑oriented mindset: understand user needs and propose optimal technical solutions. - Comfortable with frontend (TypeScript/React) and backend (Python/Django/Postgres) components; proficient with AWS infrastructure. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, agile squad. - Passion for improving healthcare delivery and learning about clinical trial processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Onboard through domain training and internal knowledge sharing. - Collaborate with product owners on starter projects; write and commit code. - Participate in the full product development cycle: sprint planning, development, code review, testing, deployment. - Maintain and evolve the Citrus trial delivery platform (React, TypeScript, Django, Python, Postgres, Amazon ECS). - Support users: triage issues, debug production bugs, and close feature requests. - Contribute to team rituals (stand‑ups, retrospectives, process improvement). - Rotate into support/operations to gain end‑to‑end product visibility. **Required Skills:** - Strong coding skills in TypeScript/React and Python/Django. - SQL proficiency with Postgres. - Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS, etc.) and deployment workflows. - Version control experience using Git. - Test‑driven development mindset; writing unit/integration tests. - Excellent communication and teamwork ability. - Quick learner, self‑motivated, and comfortable acquiring new technologies. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - No specific certifications required.
