Job Description
**Job Title:** Head of Sales – France **Role Summary:** Lead the sales function for Edgewell Personal Care in the French market, driving growth, profitability and market share across the company’s full portfolio. Deliver strategic commercial plans, manage key accounts and the field force, and collaborate cross‑functionally to achieve performance targets. **Expectations:** - Accelerate business growth beyond market pace. - Build and sustain a high‑performance sales culture. - Provide decisive, data‑driven leadership under pressure. - Act as a key member of the national leadership team. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Design and implement the annual commercial strategy, including trade negotiations, promotional plans and customer category management. 2. Manage the Key Accounts team and Field Force, setting targets and ensuring execution excellence. 3. Develop joint business plans with major customers, securing buy‑in and driving transformational growth. 4. Create and monitor KPIs (volume, net sales, promo sales, gross margin, distribution, pricing, space display, sales efficiency). 5. Forecast sales, project gross profit/loss, and coordinate with Demand Planning and Brand teams. 6. Mentor and develop the commercial team, identify succession plans and enforce performance standards. 7. Foster cross‑functional collaboration and a win‑mindset across commercial, supply chain and marketing functions. **Required Skills:** - Proven leadership in FMCG multi‑national sales (minimum 8–10 years). - Senior key‑account and field‑sales force management experience. - Strong commercial acumen: joint business planning, trade negotiations, pricing, and margin management. - Strategic thinker with ability to align long‑term vision with actionable goals. - Excellent decision‑making, analytical and financial oversight skills. - Effective communicator and relationship builder with major retailers and distributors. - Ability to motivate, develop and retain high‑performance teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred). - Professional certification in sales or business management (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, Chartered Institute of Marketing) is a plus.
