**Job Title:** Sr DevOps Engineer (DevSecOps focus)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the secure design, automation, and operation of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for an automotive financial services environment. Embed security throughout the DevOps lifecycle, ensure compliance with standards such as SOC 2, and deliver resilient, scalable, cloud‑native solutions on AWS and hybrid platforms.
**Expectations:**
- Drive secure‑by‑design practices across all development and operations activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement and continuously improve DevSecOps processes.
- Maintain high availability and performance of production systems while meeting regulatory and security requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and provision infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation on AWS.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) with integrated security testing and scanning.
- Manage container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS/AKS) and enforce container security standards.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Datadog and AWS CloudWatch.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and SOC 2 compliance activities.
- Lead incident response for security events and operational outages.
- Administer identity and access management, including Okta SSO and zero‑trust policies.
- Support hybrid cloud environments and ensure secure operations across on‑premise and cloud resources.
**Required Skills:**
- 8+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
- 3+ years leading DevSecOps or secure pipeline initiatives.
- Strong expertise with AWS services and architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming: Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Extensive experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS/AKS).
- Solid understanding of container security, zero‑trust principles, and IAM best practices.
- Familiarity with security testing tools (static/dynamic analysis, secret scanning, vulnerability scanners).
- Experience operating in hybrid cloud environments and implementing secure operational controls.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Certified DevSecOps Professional).
