**Job Title**: Head of Product Development & Strategy
**Role Summary**
Lead the full product lifecycle for a global natural health brand, driving innovation, formulation, and commercialization of supplements and functional foods. Manage the product pipeline, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver market‑leading, compliant, and efficacious products.
**Expectations**
- Own product strategy and pipeline from ideation to launch.
- Translate customer insights and scientific research into commercially viable products.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with FDA, TGA, FSA, EFSA, and other global frameworks.
- Build and lead a high‑performance product development team.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop new supplements and functional foods with strong commercial potential.
2. Design and oversee formulation strategy in partnership with labs, scientists, and manufacturers.
3. Integrate customer insight, innovation, and scientific rigor to create market‑leading products.
4. Lead testing, QA, and regulatory review to meet highest standards across US, UK, EU, AU, etc.
5. Coordinate with marketing, operations, legal, and customer experience to move products from concept to market success.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise in formulation science, ingredient synergy, and delivery systems.
- Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks (FDA, TGA, FSA, EFSA).
- Proven track record of launching top‑selling supplements or functional foods.
- Commercial acumen with a product‑market‑fit mindset.
- Strong project management, cross‑functional leadership, and detail orientation.
- Curiosity, innovation drive, and ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related field.
- 8+ years of product development experience in supplements or functional foods.
- Certifications in GMP, regulatory compliance, or related product development standards preferred.
