Job Description
Job title: Key Accounts Director (H/F) Role Summary: Lead the development and management of strategic key accounts to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction within the environmental, energy, and societal transformation sector. Expectations: - Deliver consistent growth targets for assigned key accounts. - Demonstrate expertise in consulting, energy performance, low‑carbon projects, financing, and digital platform management. - Maintain proactive commercial insights and market intelligence. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct commercial market surveillance and identify emerging business opportunities. - Prospect, qualify, and initiate new key account engagements. - Architect client proposals: coordinate internal resource requests, assemble expert teams, and secure pricing and profitability approvals through internal processes. - Lead presentation and contractual negotiations with clients, coordinating with the BU Director and Legal Counsel as appropriate. - Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring contract execution by internal experts and continuous commercial follow‑up. - Manage existing account portfolios, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. - Provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership. Required Skills: - Significant experience in key account management or senior sales roles within consulting, energy, or sustainability sectors. - Strong sales and negotiation techniques. - Deep understanding of client business challenges and sustainability objectives. - Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). - Active listening, effective paraphrasing, and clear communication. - Ability to engage stakeholders across various functions and hierarchy levels. - Persuasive influence and convincing presentation skills. - Collaborative coordination with functional departments. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field. - Any relevant professional certifications in sales, project management, or sustainability are an advantage.
