Job title: Engineer Associate – Application Engineering (Aerospace) Role Summary: Technical engineering associate focused on supporting sales and engineering teams in the aerospace bearing market. Responsibilities include customer requirements analysis, specification development, computational analysis, and integration of new technologies and materials into manufacturing processes. Expactations: Deliver cost‑effective product solutions, translate customer needs into technical specifications, and provide documentation for new technologies. Support continuous improvement, establish partnerships with local universities, and present test data to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze customer requirements and convert them into technical specifications for aerospace bearing applications. - Perform computational (FEA) analysis of bearing designs to support new product development and product support. - Translate technical requirements into actionable design/specification documents and oversee specification release. - Introduce and qualify new materials and technologies in the manufacturing plant; compile and present performance data to customers. - Build and maintain relationships with universities and colleges for technology testing and research collaborations. - Collaborate with internal manufacturing teams, aerospace OEMs, and system suppliers to achieve market share objectives. Required Skills: - Proficiency in engineering analysis tools, notably finite element analysis (FEA). - Strong written and verbal communication skills for specification development and customer interaction. - Team-oriented problem solving with ability to handle complex engineering challenges. - Knowledge of materials science, mechanical manufacturing processes, heat treatments, and surface coatings. - Experience with bearings and general mechanical systems is desirable. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - Ability to pass a Canadian Controlled Goods Assessment and criminal background check. - Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and integrate software solutions, including systems, applications, and components, per technical specifications. - Clarify and review requirements, translating business needs into engineering specifications. - Plan and define work packages and logical function changes. - Write clean code, perform bug verification, and execute unit and integration testing. - Design interfaces between business applications. - Support software migration, document changes, and plan release upgrades.
