Initialement créée pour internaliser les activités d’ingénierie et d’exploitation du réseau mobile Salt (ex-Orange Suisse), Network Solutions Factory s'installe à Lyon en juillet 2015. Depuis 2018, nous intervenons pour les réseaux fixes et mobiles de Salt et dans le monde entier pour Eir (Irlande), Free Sénégal, epic Chypre, epic Malte et plus récemment Monaco Télécom. Network Solutions Factory est une société en pleine expansion. Nous employons aujourd’hui une centaine de collaborateurs dans les domaines radio, transmission, OSS, supervision. Job Description
**Job Title** Senior RAN Design Engineer **Role Summary** Design and optimize radio access networks for Huawei and Ericsson platforms. Lead short‑ to long‑term RAN strategy evolution, including spectral efficiency, new functionalities, mobility, load and energy management, hardware configuration, and decommissioning of legacy 2G/3G technologies. Conduct network consistency checks (RF and transmission performance audits, controller healthchecks), support radio design through coverage and capacity studies, and analyze field and end‑to‑end trace data. **Expectations** - 10+ years of experience in radio optimization, with at least 2 years in a similar senior role. - Proven leadership, ownership, and long‑term strategic vision. - Strong teamwork, continuous learning mindset, and ability to adapt to evolving priorities and urgent tasks. - Advanced proficiency in 3GPP protocols and RAN technologies from Ericsson, Huawei, and/or ZTE. - Mastery of radio coverage simulation tools, drive‑test analysis (TEMS Discovery), and end‑to‑end protocol analysis (Anritsu, Exfo, etc.). - Technical English fluency (written and spoken). **Key Responsibilities** - Propose and validate RAN strategy improvements for Huawei and Ericsson. - Design and conduct RF performance and transmission audits; perform controller healthchecks. - Develop coverage and capacity studies to support radio design decisions. - Analyze field measurements and end‑to‑end trace data to identify performance issues. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement network optimizations. - Document findings, recommendations, and best practices. **Required Skills** - Radio optimization and RAN design expertise. - Advanced knowledge of 3GPP standards and Huawei/Ericsson/ZTE RAN architectures. - Proficiency with radio coverage simulation and drive‑test analysis tools. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Technical English fluency. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (equivalent to BAC+5) in Telecommunications Engineering or related field. - Demonstrated 10+ years of radio optimization experience, 2+ years in a senior RAN design role.
