**Job Title** Contract Electronics Engineer **Role Summary** Provide technical oversight for complex electronic system projects on a 3‑6 month contract. Responsibilities include both new design work and upgrades to existing drawings, ensuring all deliverables meet project specifications and timelines. **Expectations:** - Work exclusively through an umbrella company (PSC not accepted). - Deliver high‑quality design outputs on schedule. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate electrical solutions into the overall project architecture. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and revise AutoCAD Mechanical drawings for control racks, cable trays, and insertion devices. - Adapt existing schematics to meet updated project requirements. - Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards and client specifications. - Maintain accurate documentation and version control of design artefacts. - Interact with project management and other engineering disciplines to resolve design issues. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in AutoCAD Mechanical for 2D/3D electrical layout. - Proven track record of delivering electrical engineering projects on time. - Strong understanding of cable routing principles and control rack design. - Ability to interpret and apply technical specifications and drawings. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field. - Professional engineering registration (e.g., CEng, PE) is desirable but not mandatory.
