Conducts UK and US financial‑services legal research, translates findings into actionable product guidance, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and drive innovation. **Expectations:** - Right to work in the United Kingdom. - Availability to work on‑site at the Camden office ≥ 2 days per week. - High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset. - Creative, innovative thinking applied to legal problem‑solving. - Demonstrated interest in finance and technology law. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research and analyse UK and US financial legislation relevant to product development. - Summarise research outcomes into clear, actionable insights for product and business teams. - Review product requirements for legal compliance and recommend improvements. - Provide day‑to‑day legal guidance to internal stakeholders on business matters. - Collaborate closely with the CEO and other departments to align legal strategy with business objectives. **Required Skills:** - Proficient legal research and statutory interpretation. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Strong organizational and documentation skills. - Ability to synthesize complex legal concepts into practical business advice. - Team player with the capacity to work autonomously in a startup environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in a law degree program (LLB, JD, or equivalent). - No specific professional certifications required; pursuit of a legal qualification is expected.
