Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, test, and maintain software products and utilities for internal systems and customer‑facing applications, working as part of a global engineering team. **Expectations:** Deliver high‑quality, secure code adhering to TDD and CI/CD practices; collaborate cross‑functionally; maintain and improve codebase quality; resolve bugs promptly. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop new features for internal and customer products, utilities, and tools. - Research and evaluate emerging technologies to modernize existing solutions. - Refactor, optimize, and improve legacy codebases. - Design and build reusable libraries for internal use. - Write unit and integration tests; enforce continuous integration pipelines. - Debug and troubleshoot production and development issues. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning. - Maintain documentation of code, architecture, and processes. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in C# and C++. - Strong Object‑Oriented Programming knowledge. - Understanding of client‑server architecture. - Familiarity with relational database design and SQL query writing. - Comfortable with development tools: IDEs (Visual Studio), version control (Git, Perforce), build & CI systems, debugging and profiling tools. - Knowledge of web UI concepts and PowerShell scripting. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. - Team‑oriented, analytical problem‑solving mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or equivalent are a plus.
