Software Engineer

Job Description

Job title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain real‑time software for full flight simulators and fixed training devices, ensuring functional fidelity and safety compliance. Expactations: Deliver high‑quality code in C, follow the Systems Engineering V‑model/SWD lifecycle, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, communicate findings clearly, and support integration, testing, and post‑delivery support. Key Responsibilities - Develop real‑time control systems and graphical user interfaces for flight simulators. - Integrate, test, and troubleshoot simulated avionics and hardware systems. - Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, acceptance testing, and post‑delivery support. - Document technical solutions and support knowledge transfer to customers and team members. Required Skills - Proficient in C programming. - Understanding of the Systems Engineering V‑model and software development lifecycle. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary environment. - Strong verbal and written communication; presentation skills. - Familiarity with safety‑critical aerospace or automotive development practices. - Experience with ARINC, AFDX, or CAN bus protocols preferred. - Exposure to C#, C++, web technologies (JavaScript, HTML), and Windows application development (Visual Studio) is desirable. - Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) is advantageous. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, science, or equivalent aerospace/aviation engineering experience.
