Job Description
Job Title: Finance Business Partner Role Summary Provide commercial financial insight and partnership to operational and project leaders, steering budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, and performance management to support strategic decision‑making. Expectations * Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across multiple initiatives. * Translate financial data into actionable recommendations. * Maintain governance, risk controls, and cost discipline for all projects. Key Responsibilities 1. Partner with operational and project leaders to deliver financial guidance and challenge assumptions throughout project lifecycles. 2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range capital spend planning. 3. Review and shape investment proposals, build business cases, and track returns. 4. Produce concise, insightful reporting and analysis highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities. 5. Support cost control and performance management to keep programmes on budget and schedule. 6. Identify and mitigate financial risks, strengthening governance and controls. 7. Collaborate with finance teams to drive consistency, best practice, and continuous improvement. Required Skills * ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent). * Proven commercial finance or business partnering experience with strong stakeholder engagement. * Experience supporting complex projects, preferably in manufacturing or cost‑centered industries. * Ability to convert data into practical, influencing recommendations. * Strong analytical mindset, detail orientation, and ownership. * Excellent communication skills and credibility to challenge senior leaders. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment. * Willingness to travel between sites. Required Education & Certifications * ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
