Job Description
**Job title**: Business Analyst **Role Summary** Deliver continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across the organisation by analysing processes, gathering requirements, and supporting digital and system change projects. Work with operational teams, senior leaders, and external suppliers to identify inefficiencies, generate evidence‑based solutions, and ensure delivery through formal change control. **Expectations** - Work at pace in a complex environment, balancing multiple high‑impact initiatives. - Maintain full compliance with GDPR and information‑handling policies. - Engage stakeholders, manage documentation, and present findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences. - Travel occasionally within the UK or overseas; own reliable transport and a valid passport. - Meet probationary requirements and sustain the necessary vetting level. **Key Responsibilities** - Support digital transformation, process improvement, and optimisation projects. - Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and process maps for stakeholders at all levels. - Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, root causes, risks, and improvement opportunities. - Produce clear, high‑quality reports and presentations for diverse audiences. - Manage deliverables through approval and formal change control processes. - Coordinate with third‑party suppliers to align system changes with business needs. - Track project milestones, risks, and progress; maintain accurate documentation and reporting. - Contribute to business case development, aligning analysis with organisational priorities. - Mentor and promote best practice in business analysis. - Perform additional duties appropriate to the role as required. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. - Proven stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering across multiple organisational levels. - Experience in supporting digital transformation or system change projects. - Ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. - Proficiency in digital tools for data analysis, workflow optimisation, and process mapping. **Required Education & Certifications** - Educated to QCF Level 4 or equivalent experience. - Professional practitioner‑level qualification in Business Analysis (e.g., BCS Level 4, International Diploma in Business Analysis). **Desirable** - Experience with data analysis or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL). - Experience with SaaS solutions.
