Job Description
**Job Title:** Site Reliability Engineering Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and manage globally distributed SRE teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of production infrastructure supporting global user access. Oversees team performance, project execution, incident response, and strategic planning. **Expectations:** - Minimum 3 years of hands-on software or SRE experience (last 3 years preferred). - Proven team management experience. - Proficiency in cloud computing, Linux systems administration, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code tools. - Ability to work independently in a remote/distributed environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage 1–2 SRE teams, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance development. - Prioritize workload, triage incidents, and align team roadmaps with organizational goals. - Lead cross-functional projects, project manage initiatives, and execute strategic plans. - Own incident response, diagnosis, and post-mortem analysis for production outages. - Define and maintain Service Level Indicators/Service Level Objectives (SLIs/SLOs). - Facilitate 24/7 on-call rotations for critical system escalations. **Required Skills:** - Strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, Linux administration, Docker/Kubernetes, and Terraform/Ansible. - Mastery of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred). - Analytical problem-solving for complex system troubleshooting. - Fluent written and verbal communication in English. - Experience with asynchronous collaboration and distributed team workflows. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience. - Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) or automation tools may be preferred.
