Engineering Transformation Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead and coordinate engineering transformation initiatives across a complex systems organization, driving adoption of Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), PLM, Agile/Lean practices, and digital thread capabilities. Translate business objectives into actionable transformation roadmaps, manage cross‑functional projects, and embed continuous improvement into engineering workflows to enhance product quality, delivery performance, and operational excellence.

- Maintain alignment with corporate strategy, defense industry standards, and group protocols (Engineering Operating System, RAMS, IVVQ).

**Key Responsibilities**
1. Define and execute the engineering transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
2. Identify pain points, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities through close collaboration with engineering, R&D, program management, industrialization, and quality teams.
3. Lead cross‑functional transformation projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
4. Standardize and harmonize processes (MBSE, Lean/Agile, digital thread) across multiple sites and cultural contexts.
5. Design and deliver tailored training, awareness, and change‑management programs to accelerate adoption of new methodologies and tools.
6. Monitor progress using KPIs, dashboards, and regular reporting to senior management.
7. Integrate quality, cybersecurity, and safety requirements into all new engineering practices.
8. Manage stakeholder engagement, communication, and resistance mitigation.
**Required Skills**
- Proven leadership of cross‑functional transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Expertise in MBSE, Agile/Lean practices, and digital engineering tools (e.g., PLM, Polarion, Capella, Jira).
- Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle models, V‑cycle, and Agile workflows.
- Project management proficiency: planning, coordinating, and delivering complex programs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influence skills in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
- Ability to translate high‑level business objectives into detailed transformation plans.
- Continuous improvement mindset with practical experience in Lean or Six Sigma.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8–10 years of experience in engineering, industrial transformation, or continuous improvement roles within complex systems (aerospace, defense, automotive).
- Certifications in Agile (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe), Lean (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt), or related change‑management disciplines.
