Job Description
Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer Role Summary: Design, train, validate, and deploy deep learning models for vision-based autonomous rail operations. Own and maintain training datasets, work with edge deployment, and collaborate with data and robotics teams. Expectations: Deliver high‑performance neural networks for object and rail detection, ensure dataset quality, deploy models on edge hardware, and manage annotation workflows. Key Responsibilities • Research and select suitable neural architectures for tasks such as object detection and rail detection. • Train and fine‑tune models in PyTorch, converting to ONNX/TensorRT for edge deployment. • Maintain and curate large vision datasets, coordinating labeling activities with third‑party teams. • Deploy validated models on edge devices and monitor performance. • Collaborate closely with data engineers and robotics engineers to integrate AI components into ADAS/self‑driving systems. Required Skills • Proficiency in Python programming. • Hands‑on experience training and validating vision‑based neural networks. • Knowledge of PyTorch, ONNX, CUDA, and TensorRT. • Ability to handle and maintain large datasets. • Strong skills in computer vision problem solving. • Excellent written and spoken English; additional European language is a plus. Required Education & Certifications • Master’s or PhD in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field. • Relevant certifications in machine learning or deep learning are an advantage.
