Job Title: Data Scientist – Growth
Role Summary:
Data Scientist focused on driving growth initiatives across paid acquisition, organic channels, product development, retention, and monetization. Works cross‑functionally with Growth, Marketing, Product, Enterprise, and Partnership teams to extract insights, design experiments, build metrics dashboards, and construct data pipelines that inform strategic decisions and accelerate revenue.
Expectations:
- Deliver actionable growth insights and recommendations.
- Own end‑to‑end analysis from hypothesis to impact measurement.
- Champion data‑driven culture and self‑service analytics across the organization.
- Operate with independence, solving open‑ended problems and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep‑dive analyses on user behavior, conversion funnels, and retention patterns.
- Lead user segmentation and research to shape targeting, product features, and paid campaigns.
- Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to optimize marketing, product, and user experience.
- Define and visualize key growth KPIs; build dashboards to track ROI and performance.
- Develop data models and pipelines (e.g., dbt, Airflow) to support analytics efficiency.
- Analyze paid acquisition channels, campaign performance, SEO, social media, and marketing spend; recommend budget optimizations.
- Support revenue initiatives through pricing studies, subscription optimization, and enterprise growth strategies.
- Apply growth accounting, cohort, funnel, and attribution frameworks to measure impact.
Required Skills:
- 6‑8+ years of data science experience with a growth focus.
- Expertise in paid acquisition, product marketing, SEO, social media, lifecycle marketing, product analytics, or conversion optimization.
- Proficient in SQL and BI/visualization tools (Looker, Mode, Hex, etc.).
- Experienced in statistical experimentation: designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests.
- Strong data modeling and pipeline development (dbt, Airflow).
- Self‑starter with excellent cross‑functional collaboration.
- Proficient with Python for analysis and automation.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Professional certifications in data science, analytics, or SQL preferred but not mandatory.
