Job Description
**Job title** Java Software Engineer **Role Summary** Develop, test, and deploy scalable, cloud‑native applications primarily using Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and Go. Focus on building event‑driven microservices on AWS (EKS, SQS, Lambda) and integrating with ForgeRock IAM. Deliver high‑quality, observable services in an Agile environment. **Expectations** - Own end‑to‑end delivery of robust, high‑performance services. - Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and product teams. - Keep systems secure, observable, and maintainable while staying current with Java, Go, and cloud technologies. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, test, and deploy Java and Go microservices on AWS/EKS. - Integrate with AWS SQS and Lambda for messaging and event streams. - Implement observability (logging, monitoring, tracing) to ensure system health. - Integrate services with ForgeRock IAM for authentication and authorization. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application, observability, and integration layers. - Participate in code reviews and enforce best coding practices. - Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling. - Maintain clear technical documentation for designs, implementations, and troubleshooting. **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and Go. - Experience designing and deploying cloud‑native microservices on AWS (EKS, SQS, Lambda). - Implement observability solutions: logging frameworks, monitoring tools, tracing. - Build RESTful APIs and design microservice architectures. - Solid grasp of SOLID principles, design patterns, and version control (Git). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration. - Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Optional, preferred: AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Spring Professional, or similar certifications.
