Job Description
**Job title** Business Intelligence Analyst **Role Summary** Drive the end‑to‑end delivery of BI solutions that enable informed decision‑making across the organization. Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and IT to gather requirements, design data models, build Power BI reports, and ensure quality standards are met. **Expectations** - Lead user engagement sessions to identify information needs. - Own the complete BI project life cycle—requirements gathering, data modelling, report development, testing, and deployment. - Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation through effective MDM and reconciliation processes. - Communicate complex technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Engage existing and prospective users to elicit, document, and validate business information requirements. - Develop and maintain data warehouses and BI solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes. - Design, prototype, and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports that meet user needs. - Collaborate with IT and data teams to understand and document available data sources and their relationships. - Establish and maintain data quality checks, reconciliation procedures, and control processes. - Coordinate with quality assurance to verify that business requirements are fully satisfied. - Provide ongoing analyst support for new and existing BI projects, assisting with timelines and deliverables. **Required Skills** - Full life‑cycle experience of data warehouse / BI projects. - Proficient in Power BI (report design, visualization, DAX, Power Query). - Strong grasp of data modelling, MDM, data quality, and documentation practices. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and structured thinking skills. - Effective collaboration and communication with cross‑functional teams and varied audiences. - Ability to work independently and represent the BI team in broader organizational contexts. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. - Relevant BI/Power BI certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) preferred.
