**Job Title:**
Infrastructure Operations Onboarding Engineer (MSP) – Remote
**Role Summary:**
Lead the onboarding and ongoing support of enterprise clients within a Managed Service Provider environment. Manage and troubleshoot large-scale Windows and Linux infrastructures, ensuring reliable DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and certificate-based authentication services. Utilize performance monitoring platforms to proactively detect and resolve issues, while documenting processes and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Onboard new clients, configuring Windows/Linux servers and related infrastructure.
2. Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise-level Windows and Linux environments.
3. Administer DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and certificate-based authentication services.
4. Use monitoring tools (LogicMonitor, Elastic, SolarWinds, ElastiFlow, ServiceNow ITOM/MID Server, BeyondTrust) to identify performance issues and implement solutions.
5. Produce and maintain technical documentation for configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
6. Communicate status, risks, and solutions to stakeholders via email, calls, or in-person meetings.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new services and optimize existing infrastructure.
8. Prioritize multiple initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced Windows and Linux administration (8+ years).
- Expertise in DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and certificate-based authentication.
- Proficiency with performance monitoring platforms: LogicMonitor, Elastic, SolarWinds, ElastiFlow, ServiceNow ITOM, MID Server, BeyondTrust.
- Strong written and verbal communication; experience creating technical documentation.
- Customer-first mindset with proven service delivery experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and act with urgency.
- Self-driven, capable of independent work under pressure.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of client-facing or consulting experience within an MSP, IT service provider, or IT consulting firm.
- 8+ years managing and troubleshooting enterprise-level Windows and/or Linux environments.
- 8+ years in infrastructure support covering DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and certificate-based authentication.
- 3+ years experience with system performance and monitoring platforms (LogicMonitor, Elastic, SolarWinds, ElastiFlow, ServiceNow ITOM, MID Server, BeyondTrust).
- Preferred: Linux system administration competency and experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
