Expactations: - Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience in supply chain simulation, industrial engineering, or discrete event simulation. - Proficiency in simulation tools such as FlexSim, AnyLogic, Simio, ANSYS, COMSOL, or MATLAB/Simulink. - Strong scripting skills in Python and R, with knowledge of C++ for high‑performance tasks. - Solid understanding of warehousing automation technologies and WMS systems. - Ability to use CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD) for layout creation. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build 3‑D simulation models of distribution centers and warehouse logistics. - Collect and analyze operational data (order profiles, inventory levels, stock audits) to validate models. - Conduct “what‑if” experiments to identify bottlenecks and optimize staffing, equipment, and layout. - Integrate physical equipment interactions with warehouse software (e.g., SAP EWM, Manhattan Associates). - Produce detailed technical reports and visualizations (Tableau, R) for stakeholders. - Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to embed simulation insights into final designs.
